The aim of this project is to build up an international virtual zoo with animals made of chenille (= kind of 'soft and colourful wire'). These 'creatures' will be converted into rubber stamps that can be used in a very simple (but fantastic) free drawing and painting program for children: 'Tux Paint'.

These 'real pets' made by children from all over the world can be used in a creative way into this playful and artistic environment. 'Tux Paint' is even translated in more than 50 languages! You can download the program on this website. (For 'Windows' you need 2 files: 'tuxpaint windows-installer' and 'tuxpaint-stamps windows-installer'.)

Please e-mail us your address so we can send you a parcel with chenille. With this material only you make the colourful animals(size = 10 - 15 cm). Give your 'pets' a 'name' and send some of them back to us. We will take photos of the 'real' animals made of chenille and transform them into special files that become 'stamps' (buttons) into the drawing program. You can download the whole collection!

When we work together we will create a virtual zoo that we can use when we create our works of art with 'Tux Paint'.
