Terug!

Rules of the game

This is a children's 4-player card game in which the players try to form sets of 3 cards expressing the SAME FEELING or sets with 3 'special' cards.

*If you can form such a set of 3 cards but with ONE, TWO and THREE small 'hands' on top of the card, you earn 5 extra points. (The number of 'hands' on each card is different! This is a '1+2+3' set of cards.)

Rules of the game

(a '1+2+3' set of cards with the same feeling or a '1+2+3' set of 'special' cards = 5 extra points)

The dealer deals the cards out, ONE at a time, until each player has NINE cards. The rest of the cards remains undealt and is left face down in the middle of the table, forming a stock.

The card game starts with the player next to the dealer in the direction of play (clockwise). He throws the special dice or he turns on the wheel with symbols. The symbol chosen by chance determinates what kind of feeling all the participants of the game must use to form a set of 3 cards.

If the player has no cards to play, he draws the (1 or) 2 top cards of the stock and places the same number of his own cards, face down, at the bottom of the stock. He may either play them or keep them OR he swaps (1 or) 2 other cards from another player! The face of the cards stays hidden. The player can also wait for another 'feeling' and do nothing...

*With a 'special' card the player can ask first for a specific card to ONE other player and swap. (For example: 'happy' or 'happy with 2 hands', 'cool' or 'cool with 1 hand', …) If the card is not available, he can still swap 1 or 2 other cards as usual.

Then everybody else may place their sets of 3 cards on the table. Cards 'face up'!

A set of three 'special' cards can always be played!

Then the next player throws the dice… or turns on the wheel.

*When the tumbling dice or the spinning wheel stops at 'the red hand' symbol, then all kind of feelings may be played. In this case each player may put at the most ONE set of cards on the table.

The game ends when one player has no cards left. He earns 5 extra points.

Each 'hand' on the card has a certain value depending on the place where you find the card at the end of the game.

Count now the number of small 'hands' and calculate the points of each player!
